At Adaptive Minds Psychiatry we believe mental health is a journey, not a destination. We provide psychiatric medication management for mental illness as well as weight loss management. At Adaptive Minds Psychiatry we like to focus on the Pre-natal, antenatal, post partum and lactating women population. Planning to have a child, being pregnant and after pregnancy are significant milestones and we want to be there to support your mental well being along the way.

Adaptive Minds offers telemedicine options for medication management and prescription refills as well as weight loss management. In person appointments are also available as needed in the Encino and Beverly Hills area of Greater Los Angeles.

About

Hi, I'm Micole.

I'm a board-certified nurse practitioner based out of Los Angeles.  While I've been a nurse practitioner for 6 years, psychiatry is a second specialty for me.  My initial experience is neonatology. I work in collaboration with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and board-certified psychiatrist. I specialize in holistic, high quality patient care with emphasis on prenatal, antenatal, postpartum and lactating mothers. My experience as a neonatal NP has sparked my drive for maternal mental health. I believe treatment of the mind and body simultaneously help restore the person. My goal is to help people live happier, longer lives.

For as long as I can remember, I've been the helper and the " go to " person for solving problems or offering advice. I am naturally fascinated by people and how the brain works. It is my philosophy that self-care is the best care, and our mental health is often neglected. With medication management and or therapy, life's problems can be much more manageable to navigate. Often times our mental health can affect our weight so weight loss management ties into self-care.  At Adaptive Minds we place emphasis on mental health aesthetics. When the mind and body are in agreement the whole person is balanced.

We look forward to assisting you on your wellness journey.
